4th November, Bristol, UK -- Next Generation Telecoms Latin America, which took place from 19th - 21st July at the Intercontinental, Rio de Janeiro, provided leading executives the chance to establish strong business relationships, which will see the start of many innovative and exciting new ventures.
The summit saw senior level executives from telecom companies across Latin America meet to discuss their technology and management objectives in a relaxed and vibrant environment. Speakers included leading industry professionals such as Diego Anesini, Telecom Manager, IDC; Patrick Bradd, CTO, LIME; and Yvon Ferrette, President, TESACOM. Other leading telecoms companies including CA, Orga Systems, and PeerApp sponsored the event.
Telecoms executives had ample opportunity to network with peers. Adrian Cuadros of Alestra said of the event, "Excellent coordination, logistics and staff services attitude. As well as comprehensive workshops, the summit involved panel discussions offering executives moderated, peer-led discussions on major industry issues. One-to-one meetings gave delegates the chance to meet with business analysts and analyst partners to discuss strategy and technology demands for a rapidly evolving telecommunications industry in Latin America.
A total of 14 workshops covered a range of exciting and pressing topics for the telecommunications industry. Topics included security, broadband networks, mobilization, value-added services, energy storage solutions, and much more.
